Great Things Seen & Heard

• Some of our Elementary teachers have been going way beyond their normal activities to help cover people during our shortage of substitutes! Thank you more than the east is from the west!!
• Student Council’s Casual Fridays have been a great success!
• Elementary kids had a great time on Sliding Day!

Now that the snow has been perfect for sculpting and carving, it’s time to be vigilant to possible dangers involved in school yard activities. At least one death per year occurs because of an inopportune event in a snow tunnel, so please read this article for a safety reminder:

• Term Two ends on February 13^th
• Report Card work on February 14^th PED Day
• Gym booked during day on February 15^th
• Marks go into GPI by 8:00 AM on February 18^th
• Parent Night on February 20^th from 18:30 to 21:00
• Secondary Math and Science teachers meet on February 21^st PED Day
• New date for lead-testing of our school’s water hasn’t been arranged yet but will begin at 5:00 AM when it does.
• Tech Training and Elementary Math Essential Learning Goals on March 9^th PED Day
