Great Things Seen & Heard
- Students at our home basketball tournament were excited to hear that their coach was going to be in a fight, but it was just a crazy rumour.
- Some thought the opposing team’s basketball coach was saluting as if to Hitler, but it was a sloppy hand sign for a three-pointer!
- Sometimes the size of our email window changes a message: “calling a student to the office to call her father” was cut off to say, “I called a student to my office and called her fat!”
- Our finance secretary thought she’d play a trick and jumped out to scare a staff member but it was a student’s mother at the door, not the EA!
- One of our teachers made a pocket call to a parent and the mother was so interested in the lesson that she listened in for the whole thing! That’s a compliment!
- Overheard when the order of Christmas planters was assembled in the conference room:
“What an odd order, all these planters and only one wreath!” - A substitute teacher called student names in to the office for attendance and thought the baseball player, JH, was “Huggies.” That boy had better start practicing neater handwriting!

- News: students have permission to transfer between EWP/PVO and St. Andrews without special permission if they register before January 31, 2022.

- Tuesday, December 14th: EV at Board Office for expulsion hearings in the morning.

- Wednesday, December 15th: Designated students prepare Christmas Lunch in Block 1.
- Wednesday, December 15th: Christmas Lunch in Block 2.
- Thursday, December 16th: Hot Lunch is Baked Macaroni and Cheese.
- Friday, December 17th: Hot Lunch is Chicken and Veggie Kabobs with Rice.
- Friday, December 17th: Last day of school before Christmas.
Great Things Seen & Heard
- A student found his lost glove encased in ice when he parked in the same spot the next day!
- Sleeping student found in our art gallery by a custodian in the evening…ZZZ!
- A student wanted his teacher to pop a pimple between his eyebrows one afternoon. Yuck!
- Did you know our divisional psychologist has been known to be in a cover band for ZZ Top?
- When completing his survey, a student asked, “Do we even have bullying in this school? Who even has time to bully?”
- A student reported to our Wellness Coach, “You won’t have any fun tomorrow because I won’t be here!”

At the U of C webinar last week, the faculty presented many Indigenous Education Resources. The team plans to continue updating their website with even more resources.
