Great Things Seen & Heard

  • A daycare parent had quite a scare on Tuesday night when 6 police cars were parked at school and no kids could be seen from the parking lot!
  • Students are thrilled that they can actually touch Chippy (the chipmunk) out in the yard!
  • The secret person who brought the bird feeder and houses is NG! Thanks for your special touch!
  • We saw CT doing cartwheels in the yard! That’s amazing!
  • RC had the beat and the other teachers were dancing along—what a show!

Bits & Pieces

  • One new student registered for next week, so we are up to 66.
  • When GPI is ready for Term 3 entry of information, we will let you know.
  • Promotion meetings will take place on June 22nd and June 23rd according to a predetermined schedule. Teachers will be contacted by email to verify names of students.
  • We will discuss what notes need to be prepared for transition meetings in August.

Events Next Week

  • Monday, June 15th: Quick meeting for all staff at 8:00 AM on Teams.
  • Monday, June 15th: Meeting for at-home Elementary teachers, 9:00 AM.
  • Monday, June 15th: Potential IEP meetings with parents throughout the day.
  • Tuesday, June 16th: Two Secondary students in library for an exam.
  • Tuesday, June 16th: Principals’ Meeting, so updates are possible afterward.
  • Wednesday, June 17th: More IEP meetings with parents if necessary.
  • Thursday, June 18th: No more kits!
  • Thursday, June 18th: Secondary 5 Farewell event begins online at 13:30.
  • Friday, June 19th: Last day of school already!
