Great Things Seen & Heard

  • Posting wasn’t delayed by power outage this week!
  • Different classes are practicing using Google classroom to submit assignments!
  • We may be seeing more “Number of Days Without Incident” posters at school!
  • Reading lessons will be required before reading locker graffiti to improve accuracy.
  • Overheard: a volunteer to answer phones answered with the wrong school name!
  • We can see camera feedback in the office now!

Bits & Pieces

  • Locker procedures will be tweaked over the week.
  • Zip ties are holding unused lockers closed so that they’re easy to track.
  • Next biweekly Staff Meeting on October 26th.
  • Two student teachers will be coming for observation (JN & CW) on October 19th
  • Next School Council Meeting at 6:00 PM on October 19th using Zoom.
  • Parent-Teacher Interview details will be worked out after admin meeting.
  • Report Card Marks are to be in by 8:00 AM on November 6th.
  • Report Cards go out to parents on November 10th.
  • November 11th, 12th and 13th are days off for all staff and students.
  • Next PD Day (November 27th) activities will include two 90-minute CRM webinars.

  • Friday, October 23rd: Afternoon for Messenger instruction plus CRM collaboration
