Bits & Pieces

  • Assessment Week for students as scheduled by teachers: June 21st through June 25th.
  • AB Ed requires marks through PASI on Monday, June 28th.
  • Report Cards go home on Tuesday, June 29th at the end of the day.
  • First day of summer vacation on June 30th.
  • Summer School for students: July 5th to 30th.
  • Curriculum work (designated teachers): August 3rd to 13th.
  • Three EA’s will be designated to receive Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training in August.
  • Teachers and support staff return after vacation: August 24th.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training at EWP for HP schools: August 25th.
  • Regular IEC session for PD at 1:00 PM on August 24th.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training at EWP for HP schools: August 25th.
  • New teachers (and TR) have orientation at HPSD in morning on August 25th.
  • Administrators have orientation at HPSD in afternoon on August 25th.
  • EA’s return after vacation: August 26th (if not participating in NVCI training).
  • IEC Resource Overview with DB at 9:00 AM on August 26th.
  • Annual Safety Meeting for all staff at 10:30 AM on August 26th.
  • HPSD Common Collaboration in afternoon on August 26th.
  • PD activities for August 27th have yet to be confirmed.
  • School starts for students on August 30th.

Events This Week

  • Monday, June 21st: National Indigenous Peoples Day so no formal exams.
  • Monday, June 21st: Occupational Therapist comes to meet all staff at 9:00 AM (probably ½ hour).
  • Tuesday, June 22nd: Exams for Block 1 classes.
  • Tuesday, June 22nd: Grouard teachers (and students) coming for a school tour.
  • Wednesday, June 23rd: Exams for Block 4 classes.
  • Wednesday, June 23rd: Diploma exam for Biology 30 (two students writing).
  • Thursday, June 24th: Exams for Block 2 classes.
  • Friday, June 25th: Marks into Gradebook before 8:30 AM except Block 3 exam classes.
  • Friday, June 25th: Exams for Block 3 classes.
