Great Things Seen & Heard

  • We had 80 students come to the Corn Maze for our orientation day!
  • We have already built connections with many new students!
  • Dates are hard after summer break: June 31st for the welcome assembly, and July 31st for first day of school.
  • A new name for Maplewood: Wormwood!

Bits & Pieces

  • PD committee is planning several PD activities so please pass on any ideas you have before Wednesday.
  • Our next regular bi-weekly CRT meeting will be next Monday, September 12th. We will complete the chart paper activities as discussed on the last PD day.
  • Our School Council AGM will be next Tuesday, September 13th, at 6:30 PM.
  • Virtual Administrators’ Meeting in morning.
  • Our Parent Society (fundraising) AGM will be next Thursday, September 15th, at 6:30 PM. 
  • Our next PD Day will be on September 16th.

Events This Week

  • Monday, September 5th: Rest up, it’s Labour Day!
  • Tuesday, September 6th: New Assistant Superintendent (PH) visiting our school around 8:15 AM.
  • Tuesday, September 6th: Hot Lunch is Chicken Caesar Salad.
  • Tuesday, September 6th: Volleyball after school.
  • Wednesday, September 7th: Hot Lunch is Taco Salad Wrap, Veggies and Dip.
  • Wednesday, September 7th: PD Committee meeting after school.
  • Thursday, September 8th: Our school parents will be working a casino to earn money for activities.
  • Thursday, September 8th: Volleyball after school.
  • Thursday, September 8th: Hot Lunch is Cream of Broccoli Soup and a bun.
  • Friday, September 9th: Our school parents will be working a casino to earn money for activities.
  • Friday, September 9th: BLT Sandwich, Yogurt Parfait
  • Friday, September 9th: First overnight Volleyball trip leaving at noon for Spirit River: go Chargers, go!
