We are not alone with our war against students vaping in bathrooms. Sometimes we’re so focused on the bathroom problem that we don’t see the bigger problem: student addiction is at an all-time high! Many articles offer good advice, but this one offers more pertinent information than most:
Bits & Pieces
- Gym and Library are both closed during Assessment Week.
- Please check the shared supervision schedule for our exams.
- Please submit report card comments as soon as available, between January 23rd and 27th.
- PD Day on January 30th (two IEC sessions to make up for one missed).
- Semester One Report Card goes home on January 31st.
- Semester Two begins on January 31st, assembly time TBD.
- Admin PD February 1st, 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
- Semester One marks on the report card plus the plan for Semester Two determine grad list placement (Grad on Saturday, June 10th).

- Monday, January 23rd: SS Part B Diploma Exams and all other SS exams.
- Monday, January 23rd: PVO students go skating.
- Tuesday, January 24th: Biology 30 Diploma Exam and Biology 20 final exam.
- Wednesday, January 25th: Chemistry Diploma Exam (external student) and all other Science exams.
- Wednesday, January 25th: Physics in-class final exam in the afternoon.
- Wednesday, January 25th: PVO students go skating.
- Wednesday, January 25th: JN and CW head to Edmonton for Diploma Exam marking.
- Thursday, January 26th: Physics Diploma Exam and all remaining ELA exams.
- Friday, January 27th: Math exams.
- Friday, January 27th: Staff Lunch (make your own tacos) at 12:00 noon. YAY!
- Friday, January 27th: Marks and comments in Maplewood (and paper copy in office) by 3:00 PM
- Friday, January 27th: Basketball team heads to Peace River.
