Great Things Seen & Heard
- A teacher yelled at a backpack on the bathroom floor, thinking it was a second student sitting in the cubicle!
- We had great feedback on the HPSD survey regarding breakfast and lunch, with results way higher than ever! 100% say that our breakfast program is a good idea, and 99% said the same for our lunch program!
- Our school secretaries keep staff on track, even reminding them which days they have medical appointments and correcting them when necessary.
- Last classroom renovation has been completed for this school year!

An educational author recently wrote that while teachers are nearly never asked about their values once they have their teaching position, those values help teachers persevere through the tough spots. - Diploma exams will take place for one or two students this week (location to be determined once number has been confirmed).
- April 20th: Parents sign up for a time slot on the phone PTI schedule—document has been shared with teachers, who will have editing rights that evening.
- April 27th: Sun Peaks band trip for Music students.
- May 1st: CRM team meeting after school.
- May 2nd: Skills Canada Trip to Edmonton (KM & NS with PRS).
- May 3rd: Skills Canada Trip to Edmonton (KM & NS with PRS).
- May 3rd: Afternoon PD for Admin.
- May 5th: MMIP mini-conference in B2 and Bannock Bison Burger Day.
- May 5th: CB & CC at PRS for Wellness Day.
- May 6th: Highway Clean-up with Parent Society.

- Reminder that Sunday evening gym bookings have been cancelled for the remainder of the year. Please notify me if people are using our gym outside of school hours unless it appears on the Monday Memo.

Great Things Seen & Heard
- A student is convinced by a staff member that we only earn $5 an hour at school!
- A miracle-worker-teacher squeezes HCS out of students in the spare time of a different class!
- A teacher accidentally told a student she’s too medicated to laugh.
- We found out a new way to talk about tattling: a tea party!
- We had 39 people attend our Grade 9 parent meeting!
- We heard once again that bathroom woes aren’t only a problem with teenagers: Tolko adults seem to cause just as much mess!
- A rare attender was the only student to attend class the other day… what a great way to catch up!
