Great Things Seen & Heard

  • Thank you to all the staff who helped with the Grad ceremony: it is truly appreciated!
  • In the height of emotional upheaval, we know we have an admirable teacher who will try his best to turn things back to a positive note, with constructive ideas and a gentle tone!  
  • When a teacher asked the student how his CTS module was coming, he slipped and said, “My mom has almost finished it.”
  • Be wary at all times because we have recently heard that a teacher stripped down on the bus not knowing that all school buses have cameras running at all times. Not sure which school the teacher was from though…
  • In describing the class at the end of the day, a teacher described it as being exactly like “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest!”

Bits & Pieces

  • We have a new Library Clerk starting in August: MM. Welcome aboard!
  • We may need Room 136 as a backup isolation room on Monday or Tuesday depending on our walk-in students.
  • Clean-up week in IA Shop this week, so please help ensure all students stay in that class.
  • June 19th: Last assignments in and ELA Part B Diploma.
  • June 20th: PAT exam (ELA-B) and SS Part B Diploma.
  • June 22nd to 27th: Marking in Edmonton (NM, JN, et CW) and PAT exam (Math).
  • June 23rd: Chemistry Diploma and PAT exam (Science).
  • June 27th: Science Diploma.
  • June 27th: JC’s last day before moving down south.
  • June 28th & 29th: PD Days.

  • Monday, June 12th: JA, EC, & RL away all day.
  • Monday, June 12th: ELA Part A Diploma exam, 57 students.
  • Monday, June 12th: Lunch is Turkey and Swiss Sandwich with Yogurt.
  • Monday, June 12th: PVO students go swimming at 2:00 PM.
  • Monday, June 12th: Regular bi-weekly meeting cancelled due to Diploma Exams.
  • Tuesday, June 13th: No-one away all day. Whew!!
  • Tuesday, June 13th: SS Part A Diploma exam, 53 students.
  • Tuesday, June 13th: Lunch is a BBQ Ranch Chicken Wrap with Fruit.
  • Wednesday, June 14th: RN & TP away all day.
  • Wednesday, June 14th: HH away all morning.
  • Wednesday, June 14th: Lunch is an Asian Sesame Chicken Salad.
  • Wednesday, June 14th: PVO students go swimming at 2:00 PM.
  • Thursday, June 15th: JN away all day.
  • Thursday, June 15th: Last instructional day of Semester Two.
  • Thursday, June 15th: PAT exam at PVO (SS).
  • Thursday, June 15th: Hot Lunch is Greek Salad with Chicken Skewers.
  • Thursday, June 15th: ATA Induction Potluck in Enilda at the Bowling Alley at 5:00 PM.
  • Friday, June 16th: NS & GL away all day.
  • Friday, June 16th: First day of Assessment Week—please check supervision schedule.
  • Friday, June 16th: Math Diploma exam at 9:00 AM.
  • Friday, June 16th: JeG, HH, and EV meet over at HPE at 9:00 AM.
  • Friday, June 16th: No lunch as no students to cook for us!
