Events This Week

• Monday, August 28^th: Staff Parking Lot being ripped up again (to be redone).
• Monday, August 28^th: All EA’s have NVCI training (only day for Secondary EA’s).
• Monday, August 28^th: Library Clerk MM’s first day, training with KB from Divisional Office.
• Monday, August 28^th: Secretaries start up and Career Coaches have meeting.
• Monday, August 28^th: Teachers all attend Land-Based Learning in Joussard, bus departing 8:30 AM.
• Tuesday, August 29^th: Hopefully, repaving of our staff parking lot (again).
• Tuesday, August 29^th: Administrators and New Teacher Orientation at Division Office, 9:30-15:30 while others work at school.
• Wednesday, August 30^th: PD Day—9:00 AM in Room 141: specialist councils, assignable time, report card dates, and culture conversation for the coming year including timeframe for new, motivational activities (as seen on the Committee Sign-Up sheet).
• Wednesday, August 30^th: Choose a restaurant to meet for lunch.
• Wednesday, August 30^th: PD Day—1:00 PM in Room 141: subject area collaboration as scheduled (TBA) and phone calls to Bay Day parents when not in collaboration meetings.
• Thursday, August 31^st: PD Day—9:00 AM in Room 141: assessment practices and standards.
• Thursday, August 31^st: New superintendent and team visit our school at 11:00 AM.
• Thursday, August 31^st: PD Day—1:00 PM in Room 141: collaboration as scheduled (TBA).
• Friday, September 1^st: All staff attend morning Staff Meeting at 8:30 AM in Room 141: Safety Review, Basic Procedures Review, Confidentiality Review, Committee sign-up confirmation, choose duties for Open House on September 12^th (date to be confirmed).  
• Friday, September 1^st: Noon Dismissal for long weekend.
