Great Things Seen & Heard   

  • A teacher, joking around, said something about a student’s work looking like it was from someone who was high, and the student asked, “How did you know?”
  • The smart phone’s work focus mode caused a teacher to be very late for a meeting!
  • A student runs to the far hallway claiming there was a big fight at the school entrance, a fight between teachers of all things!

  • Discussion points for regular staff meeting: Career Coach update, sports update, next squeeze day update, O Canada, update on support staff evaluations, update on assignable time, ISP’s, PD Day plan, plan for collaboration meeting in two weeks.
  • The local Basketball league is once again renting our gym for Sunday evenings.
  • The Minister of Education cancelled his visit to our school scheduled for October 24th.
  • October 23rd: TP away all day.
  • October 24th: Minister of Education visits our school from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM.
  • October 24th: MacEwan Campus Tour (KE & KJ).
  • October 25th: U of A Campus Tour (KE & KJ).
  • October 25th: NM away all day.
  • October 25th: Outdoor Cooking Day (Foods classes each block).
  • October 26th: F2F Literacy & Numeracy all day (RN, HH, SM, JoG).
  • October 26th: Superintendent in our school all day.
  • October 26th: GL away in PM.
  • October 27th: Volleyball trip to Fairview.
  • October 27th: Admin & Career Coach Meeting at 1:00 PM.
  • October 30th: EV away all day.
  • October 31st: JeG & EV away all day.
  • November 1st: Divisionals for Volleyball begin at 1:00 PM (our school).
  • November 3rd: Work cutoff day for report cards.
  • November 5th: Report Cards & Comments in by 4:00 PM.
  • November 9th: Report Cards go home for Term One.
