Great Things Seen & Heard

  • When reading a “shout out” from a student, it was misread to say the teacher is very “hefty” instead of very “helpful!”
  • Front end substitute left another staff member locked between the main entry doors by accident.
  • When checking airflow for vape detector, we learned that even a stinky Number Two will set off the alarm!
  • Some people thought we hired “Miss Garden” at the Career Fair, but it wasn’t so.
  • We have another new teacher: Dr. Frank!
  • Teachers have extra-sensory perception to know when their students are on their phones!
  • One student suggested the staff member get Band-Aids to remedy the bleeding ears from F-bombs!
  • One student said that the teacher’s voice is like the teacher drank a bucket of sand!
  • This is a hard one to remember: it was overheard that something is like owl water with spit in it. I wish I knew what it was…
  • Our school brought MORE THAN 2 TONS of food to the Food Bank after our Food Drive!!

  • Squeeze Day times for Friday, December 22nd:
    • Breakfast – 8:30 – 9:35
    • Block 1 – 9:35 – 10:45
    • Break – 10:45 – 10:50
    • Block 2 – 10:50 – 12:00
    • Lunch – 12:00 – 1:00
    • Break 3 – 1:00 – 2:10
    • Break – 2:10 – 2:15
    • Block 4 – 2:15 – 3:25
  • Christmas Holidays begin on December 23rd.
  • NO gym rentals or usage over Christmas holidays.
  • Return to school on January 8th.
  • First Diploma exams on January 10th and 11th.
  • Parent Society Bottle Drive on January 13th—student help requested, especially athletes.
  • First regular biweekly meeting in the new year will be January 15th, 3:35 PM to 4:35 PM.
  • Gym booking on Sunday evenings continues for the local Basketball league.

  • Staff members were incredibly competitive for the Food Drive this year!
  • We have a new teacher: Miss Garden!
  • Overheard between adults: haven’t you ever gone pussy picking?
  • One staff member accidentally embarrassing another staff member by complimenting wacky hair that wasn’t meant to be wacky!

  • New time for all regular bi-weekly meetings: 3:35 PM to 4:35 PM. Please be on time!
  • Next Staff Meeting on December 11th at 3:35 PM (KM on bus duty).
  • Staff Christmas Get-Together at local restaurant, December 13th at 5:00 PM.
  • RL and JM away all day and HH away in PM on December 18th.
  • EC and VF away all day on December 19th.
  • Sucker Creek lunch at PVO on December 20th, followed by bowling.
  • PVO Christmas Lunch on December 21st.
  • Christmas Breakfast Squeeze Day on December 22nd.
