A sense of belonging is one of the most significant elements of a healthy school culture or work environment. While much attention these days is given to factors like diversity and inclusion when developing strategies to improve culture or environment, belonging has been dropped from the jargon: we see DEI everywhere, but who adds a “B” for belonging?

Here, we see a simple explanation of the terms involved and some tips for improving one’s sense of belong for yourself:

Bits & Pieces

  • Exam Supervision schedule has changed again – please check.
  • Next Squeeze Day will be organized by Student’s Council on February 14th.
  • Parent Society Bottle Drive will take place n March 2nd.
  • Gym booking on Sunday evenings continues for the local Basketball league.

  • Monday, January 29th: EC away all day.
  • Monday, January 29th: Report card marks and comments due in by 8:30 AM (except GL & SM).
  • Monday, January 29th: Physics Diploma from 9:00 to 3:00 PM.
  • Monday, January 29th: Interviews for Secretary from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (HH & EV).
  • Monday, January 29th: Lunch will only be arranged if necessary.
  • Monday, January 29th: Expulsion hearing (for PVO) at 2:30 PM.
  • Monday, January 29th: Regular biweekly (Staff) meeting, 3:35 PM to 4:35 PM. (Agenda has been shared.)
