• Assessment Week for students as scheduled by teachers: June 21^st through June 25^th.
• AB Ed requires marks through PASI on Monday, June 28^th.
• Report Cards go home on Tuesday, June 29^th at the end of the day.
• First day of summer vacation on June 30^th.
• Summer School for students: July 5^th to 30^th.
• Curriculum work (designated teachers): August 3^rd to 13^th.
• Three EA’s will be designated to receive Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training in August.
• Teachers and support staff return after vacation: August 24^th.
• Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training at EWP for HP schools: August 25^th.
• Regular IEC session for PD at 1:00 PM on August 24^th.
• Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training at EWP for HP schools: August 25^th.
• New teachers (and TR) have orientation at HPSD in morning on August 25^th.
• Administrators have orientation at HPSD in afternoon on August 25^th.
• EA’s return after vacation: August 26^th (if not participating in NVCI training).

• Annual Safety Meeting for all staff at 10:30 AM on August 26^th.

• Monday, June 21^st: National Indigenous Peoples Day so no formal exams.
• Monday, June 21^st: Occupational Therapist comes to meet all staff at 9:00 AM (probably ½ hour).
• Tuesday, June 22^nd: Exams for Block 1 classes.
• Tuesday, June 22^nd: Grouard teachers (and students) coming for a school tour.
• Wednesday, June 23^rd: Exams for Block 4 classes.
• Wednesday, June 23^rd: Diploma exam for Biology 30 (two students writing).
• Thursday, June 24^th: Exams for Block 2 classes.
• Friday, June 25^th: Marks into Gradebook before 8:30 AM except Block 3 exam classes.
• Friday, June 25^th: Exams for Block 3 classes.

• Congratulations to our new EA hired for next year, SO!
• Congratulations to SW on being accepted into a Master’s program! That’s impressive!
• This week, an accident report came up that was dated 2006-09-21. The website said that there appears to be a problem with the date!
• One step beyond falling asleep at one’s desk would be reading emails with closed eyes…

• Our Graduating class valedictorian will be AD, and our Salutatorian, GB. Way to go, girls!
• Noticed: two students having a swordfight in ELA 20-1 to represent Macbeth and Macduff!
• Overheard: a staff member telling someone to quit back-seat driving him!
• What snake measures 3.14m long? A pi-thon, of course!
• What can you do if your dog keeps you up all night? Fall asleep at your desk, of course!
• What can you use yellow flour for? The same thing as blue flour, red flour, and orange flour…
• We have three telephone lines at school for the first time in years!
• Overheard: a student saying that CB pulls people into her office and forces them to talk!
