Bits & Pieces

  • The school board has posted a revision of the return to school handbook on their website: https://hpsd.ca/common/pages/DisplayFile.aspx?itemId=24210081 .
  • Masks are optional at school this year, but mandatory on school buses.
  • Procedures for Covid may be adjusted on September 27th, so we shall remain flexible.
  • Reminder that according to Alberta’s Privacy Act, we have been asked to refrain from asking students and others about their vaccination status.
  • Documents for teachers for the return to school are in the first day’s agenda (emailed).
  • First long weekend of school year: September 6th is Labour Day.
  • Orange Shirt Day will be on September 30th this year.
  • School Photos will be on Tuesday, October 5th .
