Great Things Seen & Heard

  • One of our EA’s appreciates distraction of the others so that she can be first on the bus, but she needs to be careful that a dead bird won’t trip her up!
  • Overheard report in the office: a student was taking a sh** in the boys’ bathroom when the ceiling tile fell on his head! He added that the bottles are still up there, though.
  • A staff member accidentally texted her boyfriend to call in sick instead of me, but he had no reception to tell her she had the wrong number until late in the evening!
  • A student thinks that his teacher gives off the vibes that she makes all major life decisions based on astronomy!
  • A student emailed an assignment to CB, thinking she was JG!

Bits & Pieces

  • Next regular biweekly team meeting is on Monday, February 28th, at 3:30 PM.
  • Staff still wear masks until March 1st, Step Two of Alberta government.
  • Still no visitors in our school before Step Two (after March 1st).
  • Still no spectators at sports before Step Two (after March 1st).
  • We’ll wing it on Wednesday, March 2nd, after school, in the Staff Room.
  • Grad students have until March 4th to return a form to CG if they are interested in receiving a feather or a sash at Grad.
  • Blanket exercise has been moved to April 29th at 9:00 AM.

  • Wednesday, February 23rd: Outdoor Ed and Foods classes go ice fishing.
  • Wednesday, February 23rd: Hot Lunch is Broccoli and Cheddar Soup with a bun.
  • Thursday, February 24th: Breakfast for all staff and students.
  • Thursday, February 24th: Lunch is Turkey Egg Roll in a Bowl.
  • Friday, February 25th: EV in PD session all morning (Math for Administrators).
  • Friday, February 25th: Hot Lunch is Pizza Bun with Garden Salad.
  • Friday, February 25th: Basketball teams leave for Fairview at 2:00 PM.
