  • Reminder that there is NO PARKING by the garbage can on Mondays! The truck couldn’t empty our bin because of a car blocking the way this week…
  • All computer technology requests must go through the helpdesk website.
  • TamTam lessons start up again in our Student Lounge this week, so don’t be alarmed when you see strangers in our school on Monday evenings.

  • Election Day, October 1st: school has PED Day in exchange for April 26th Snow Day

Bits & Pieces

  • New Computer Tech is in place to start the week of September 10th.
  • Teachers should email their Word version of timetable by Tuesday, September 4th so that we can print them for sub binders. We don’t need Assigned Work or Personal Work for that, only the supervision, teaching and passing time that supply teachers work. Please ask if you need clarification.
  • Part-time staff should hand in their PED Day preferences by Tuesday, September 4th.
  • Teachers’ GPI timetables should be entered by September 21st to allow enough time for teachers to ask for help.
  • Fall testing for DRA in Elementary should be completed by November 15th. Please remember the purpose of that testing is to drive teaching for the current year.

  • Computer Tech will be in on Saturday, August 25th, to set up library computer and finish in office
  • Construction crew also in on Saturday to install cubbies
  • Final coat of epoxy will be ready for students to enter through primary doors on 29th

  • Gym occupied by Secondary exams until noon on Tuesday, June 19th.
  • We will have a year-end assembly for Elementary on June 22nd with a few awards, but most awards will wait for the first assembly coming back in 2018-19.
  • If it is rainy on Friday, June 22nd, the Bouncy Castle will be in the gym. Otherwise, it goes in the yard as usual.
  • The school will likely be off limits during the summer because of the projected flooring project so we will be collecting keys at the end of June.
