- One of our students hit a hole-in-one at the golf tournament last Monday!
- A special needs student that often only appeared when our LST was away last year showed up for the first time when PL was away at the golf tournament! Quite the track record!
- A student was looking for TR to tell him he looks like the principal on Rick and Morty. The boy was really quite excited about it!
- Overheard: a student telling another student that he missed his chance, anti-mask day was last week.
- Comments from football players washing uniforms: doing laundry is yucky!
- You know it’s been a long, tiring week when both administrators wonder where the corn field is at the Corn Maze Fun Day for Grade 10 students!
- Overheard: a student is pretty tired today because he couldn’t sleep in Math class; that new teacher’s voice is too loud!

- We were commended for having the highest percentage of staff members with the online safety training completed! Way to go, everyone!
- Overheard: This isn’t acting like a real website, it’s acting like a picture of a website. It is a picture of a website!
- Misappropriation of the terms: a boy went in the gender-inclusive bathroom with a girl, but only to talk.
- Some of our CTS General students have already earned a few credits!
- Three boys were caught in the main boys’ bathroom in the dark. When lights were turned on, a loud “What are you doing so close to me??” was heard.
- We heard that police and a SWAT team were at our school arresting students who weren’t wearing masks.
- Football boys have been reported to be going into the Fitness Room to primp in front of the wall of mirrors.
- A staff member in the staff bathroom was alarmed to hear what sounded like someone breaking through the wall. It turns out that someone did burst a hole in the wall, but not through!
- Overheard regarding the protest organizer: “Why would we follow a kid who can’t even spell?”
- When asked if he had a booboo, the student answered, “Yes, but that’s not what it’s called.”
- We had the best turn-out ever for a Grad meeting at lunch this past week!
- Seen: a football player has a teddy-bear in his locker to pump himself up.
- Our Volleyball teams were able to go on their first road trip in years!
- Our Football team won their game on Friday night!
- A total stranger from a town east of Calgary called to encourage us to stand strong after seeing a post about police in front of our school—she said she knew it was a false report and thought we probably needed a positive phone call!

- We have found some of our lost students! Official Friday’s count was 86 in Grade 10, 96 in Grade 11, and 99 in Grade 12. Let’s see if the predicted bubble of new students coming after the long weekend holds true…
- Overheard in English class: why are we doing so much reading and writing in here?
- Have you ever gotten into the wrong vehicle even though someone was sitting in it? We heard about a time when one of our teachers did just that!
- Who marks papers at football? Got to be an English teacher because there’s always so much marking to do…
- We were concerned that political parties were using our field behind the school for advertising, but it turned out that it was just the time clock…

- What can you do if your dog keeps you up all night? Fall asleep at your desk, of course!

- We have three telephone lines at school for the first time in years!
