  • We found out that the number of days without incident written on the board was for the teacher, not the students!

  • We learned that accidentally inviting the whole division to our PD day and breakfast is a great way to virtually meet new people!
  • Our own PE teacher has been asked to chair a new PE committee for the division! Extra-curricular sports activities are soon to be coming!

  • It was most interesting to see how so many students were distracted by the word “distracting” in the student handbook!
  • Our most patient staff member’s name has now evolved from Randy, to Brandy, to Brian. Good thing the poor guy is so good-natured!  
  • TR’s phone posted the incorrect day for the first time in history—perhaps he shouldn’t be trying to make it to four years before replacing it!
  • Some missing slippers have been spotted in the cars outside our wellness coach’s window—please keep an eye out for them!
  • One of our English teachers has now been titled “Lady” so we can call her Milady now!
  • Monday’s hot lunch was listed on the website as apple burgers with pot!

  • Thank you to the many helping hands that make the work of organizing and sanitizing light!
  • A local police officer showed compassion to one of our teachers that was racing through a school zone to get back to class on time!  
  • We were glad to hear a teaching colleague pointed out the volume button before the computer tech showed up to fix the sound on a classroom SmartBoard!
  • We know we’re under pressure when we rejoice over news that the disinfectant only has to sit for one minute instead of ten! What a relief!
  • We have a new staff member named Brandy that has agreed to host safety meetings from time to time!

  • Troops rallied together to create a registration day before staff returned from holidays on August 24th! A special thank you to KJa, CB, JN, TR and KJo!
  • Great willingness and honourable attitude of taking one for the team in switching out a few classes!

  • A daycare parent had quite a scare on Tuesday night when 6 police cars were parked at school and no kids could be seen from the parking lot!
  • Students are thrilled that they can actually touch Chippy (the chipmunk) out in the yard!
  • The secret person who brought the bird feeder and houses is NG! Thanks for your special touch!
  • We saw CT doing cartwheels in the yard! That’s amazing!
  • RC had the beat and the other teachers were dancing along—what a show!
